just curious

While sitting in my 2012 JK Sahara waiting for someone to come out I hear something like electric motors closing something in my dash. Happens about 5 minutes after shutting off jeep. Idont believe there is anything wrong, just curious.

I have heard the same thing. I think it is the hard drive for the radio making that noise.

My dealer told me that after a programmed period the hvac ducting on new cars actually closes to prevent full air flow into the car. Not sure if that was real or bs.

I have heard it just sitting in the jeep without turning the engine on but have been playing with setting up stations.

I've heard it numerous times while working on my JK. I have assumed it was something to do with the air vents...that's what it sounds like to me.
