It's easy! Just don't leave anything in it that you're not willing to give away. ;-)

Though it didn't happen often, my problem wasn't with stuff going missing, but with stuff being added like someone tossing in an almost empty beer can.

From the looks of the picture the OP is in Florida. This is the time of the year we can really enjoy being topless. Less heat and hardly no thunder storms that can fill a jeep interior in less than 5 minutes.
I leave everything unlocked,The glove box and center console. As one poster suggested, don't leave anything in the jeep that your not willing to donate to some needy butthole who thinks he need it more than you.
The only thing I leave in my Jeep is an old GPS unit that I wish somebody would take. That way I could buy a better one.

Yeah man.. gotta take off them doors! We have a "cool" front coming in this week. After the rain has passed, nothing but sun shine and 75 degrees of weather! Needless to say, my top and doors will be coming off. Oh, and I don't leave anything in the Jeep valuable. To easy to steal something in it. I also don't lock my doors.

I never leave anything of value in the Jeep. I keep the rear gate locked and some supplies in the storage bin back there so at least that is secure. I'm actually more worried about someone stealing the doors or stealing the windows than I am about someone stealing stuff from the Jeep. So even when the top is down I lock my doors.

I will be getting her half naked on Tuesday when my new rain gear cover gets here. Don't have enough storage for all 4 doors.

I always religiously lock everything. It's just a habit i picked up from owning manual locks on all my vehicles. Plus that and when im at the beach surfing people tend to steal stuff. I'm going to try and start leaving everything unlocked. I really don't have much in there anyways.

on a side note, has anyone ever had their registration stolen or something similar?

Nope I actually thought about someone stealing an item such as registration. So I took it out of my glove compartment and moved it to the hidden compartment in the back
