My guess is it's from the children you ran over that got stuck on your drive shaft.... going to need more info than you have a grinding noise. Is it coming from the front the back, a specific wheel? Does it happen all the time when you're moving? Only certain speeds? Forwards and Reverse? Help us help you.

Have you crawled under your jeep to see if you picked up any sticks or rocks, especially in/near turning parts like brake rotors, drive shafts, etc.?

I sit down to read the forum most times and I refresh the list of threads then right click them to send to a new tab. When I get a few across the top I then read thru them. I guess I read thru them too fast to catch these little nuggets. (no pun)

That's stuck? jk

Your Jeep looks very familiar, were you wheeling at Southington?

A bunch of us from NEO4x4 were there.

Glad it was an easy fix, btw.

You are correct sir. This would not pass the mom test.

Back on track; that's the worst thing about wheeling thru soupy muddy water holes. The gravel and grit that gets all up in the brakes and rotor area. It gets all up in the frame and the stains under the hood. I hate that.

Before JIMBO gave me special recognition for a post I made my signiture said "Love getting it dirty. Hate the cleaning". This is why.
