Just saying Hey and looking for suggestions!

Hey everyone, I just recently got a Black 2009 Jeep 2dr Sahara with a car loan (will get pictures later). It was sort of a graduation gift which I get to help pay for. I've been looking through websites of what might look good on the jeep and eventually want to get everything along with a lift kit and some tires. So far I was thinking of these items:

http://www.quadratec.com/showcases/wet_okole_seat_covers/jk.php?yr=2009&b=y&h=y&d=2&pipe=none
the neon green color

HyLine OffRoad JK-50HLP - HyLine OffRoad Louvered Hood Panel for 07-12 Jeep® Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK - Quadratec

Bushwacker Pocket Style Fender Flares in OEM Style Matte Black Finish for 07-12 Jeep® Wrangler JK 2 Door - Quadratec

Smittybilt 76633 - Smittybilt SRC Side Armor in Textured Black for 07-12 Jeep® Wrangler JK 2 Door - Quadratec

AEV 10305055AA - AEV Front Premium Bumper in Black for 07-12 Jeep® Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK - Quadratec

Of course I wouldn't be getting all this right away but just some things to work toward. Any suggestions on what else to get and maybe some changes?

I plan to do some off-roading but wouldn't want to be limited to what I could do and I like the look of a lifted jeep. I haven't really gone into looking for tires yet and I live in virginia right now but will be moving out to florida in the near future for med school. So probably a mix between all.

Got em! Love em!
The mil-spec premium bumpers are on my NEXT-UP list!

I have an 09 Sahara (manual) and also have 4.88 re-gear on that same list.

As has been mentioned, depends on your preferences. In FLA you'll likely hit sand/water (salt water eats vehicles/parts, so put that in your equation as well). There's some great posts here on lifts - especially check out the sticky on lift kit reviews. After lots of deliberation, I'm going with the AEV 3.5 RS dual-sport kit and also got the SS extended brake lines. I'll add a review and pics as soon as the parts are in (and on). There's tons of mods you can make, many functional, and just as many aesthetic. Do you plan on using this as a DD as well?

Those fender flairs down here will just get ripped off out on trails. For the front bumper, to much money for me. There are others out there that are just as good and don"t cost as much as a good 2.5'' lift.

Yea it's going to be a DD. Also I will probably get flat fenders after hearing that haha. I was thinking a 4" lift with 35" tires but that wouldn't be such a good idea I'm thinking.

agree not a good idea. you only need 2.5 inches to clear 35's comfortably and if you want a bit more clearence you can just add a 1.25 bl to that..
