It is a limited edition (Dragon Edition), but it appears that most are still on dealer lots. Orders for this edition closed in December, but there is no shortage of them still available for sale.

I believe it was originally a one-off design for a Chinese auto show but made into a limited edition for at least the US market. They don't seem too popular as I've only seen them on dealer lots and not on the street.

I am "the odd one out" around here when it comes to the Dragon package, but had the Limited Slip Differential been available, I probably would have purchased one. I quite like the package.

Toby, from what I have read, it was available in China as well, and was equally as popular there.

I have no visual proof, but I actually saw one is these at the Sam's Club gas station yesterday. I checked the plate and it was NOT a dealer plate.

While we were in Ft Wayne a couple of weeks ago, we checked out the inventory at one of the Jeeps dealerships and a Dragon was driven into the dealership. The plates on that one were not dealer plates either.

What did the dragon edition said to the other wranglers on the trail?
"I'll just be a drag on you guys"

They took 10 in Castle Rock, CO about 6 months ago...all 10 still there!

It's a $4K adder to a Sahara!

Someone post the interior pics = mind blown.

Obviously not my "cup of green tea".

It's just a black Sahara with some a spare tire cover, gold paint and decals.

Somehow this is awful but but some of the shall we say spectacular shades of blue pass without the simplest object

It's all good.

In its defense, it's just the same thing as my polar edition but in black and gold with dragons on the inside and out instead of mountain ranges. Minus the dragon stuff, I think the black and gold theme looks nice.

polar has 10x more class than that. At least polar has snow in the equation - dunno the last time someone had to drive over a dragon.

I looked at a polar - figured it would be about 30 mins to debadge it and have it looking ok - the dragon $hit - meh don't bother.

I think some product manager at Jeep f'd up. 2014 is the Chinese year of the horse, not dragon. 2013 was the year of the dragon.

I drive by Medved on I-25 daily and they have them all lined up along the front of the dealership lot...I don't think they have sold one yet.

There are two on a dealer lot near me. The gold around the grill looked like a throwback from the late eighties...i wasn't the least bit interested.

Wasn't there a CJ-5 in gold called the "Golden Eagle"? Back in the late 70's or early 80's.

Not exactly my cup of 'tea' either.
Too Ghetto looking for me.

My dealer is stuck with two.
He did offer to give us quite a discount on one, but we were not interested.
