That's a really good looking harness. Any issues with delay in turning off the high beams with this harness?

Thanks for the heads up on this product epemdoc. I just placed an order. Hopefully this will get rid of the flicker.

Does this harness cause the headlights to operate at a reduced brightness? I'm assuming there are simply resistors in the harness to regulate the voltage going to the lights. I have no doubt that this will maintain the longevity of the lights, since flickering can't possibly be good for them! Thanks!

Can't comment on brightness. Did not have the JW Speakers installed for a before and after harness comparison. It would be interesting to hear from other forum members that purchase this product.

I actually have Truck-Lites, but they should be compatible with them as well. I'm curious to know.

I thought I read that the newest version of JW had solved the flicker issue or am I mistaken on that? Or maybe it was TL?

TLs flickered with the harness. Not that it bothered me. The beam pattern did but not the flicker.

I realize this is a 6-month old thread, but since the anti-flicker harness doesn't work for me, I thought I'd revive it. I have a 2012 Wrangler Rubicon with JW Speaker 8700s.

Put simply, they don't work. When the anti-flicker harnesses are installed and I switch to high beams, my lights just stay on high beams. I can't get them off high beam without shutting them off. If I switch to low beams the left one says high, and the right one stays high but flickers low. If I switch them off and back on, then they go back to low beam. On the plus side, they don't flicker.

When I remove one the other one is F'd. If I flip (remove the other) then the other one is F'd. Equally hosed. I switched back to my old harnesses and they work fine (tiny flickers). Because both of these new anti-flicker harnesses are non-functioning, I have to believe it's a design flaw or maybe something peculiar to my Jeep.

i received my harnesses today along with the JW Speaker 8700's. Am i the only person who is having a very hard time getting them to fit into the harness? The fit is certainly not snug and the harness doesn't seem to be made very well.

Personally, i'm not feeling too good about spending $800+ on headlights and having a crappy harness installed. I've emailed Headlight Revolution for their help. I'll let you guys know what they say in response.

Also, if i do end up installing them i will be sure to post a picture.

I have the latest version of JW speaker h/l and driving lights. The h/l did have a slight flicker which was eliminated by installing the headlight revolution harness. It's a nice well made harness and it works as advertised. This harness did not reduce the brightness of the JW Speaker 8700's.

They are great headlights and should be for the price. Hope this helps.

One other thing, I agree the flickering cannot be good for the headlights. I think the anti-flicker harness is the way to go.
Good luck!

I am using the Headlight Revolution harness for my JW Speaker Headlights and Fogs. All plug and play and work perfectly. It was a very easy install with no adjustments necessary.

So I just ordered the 6145 fogs and the 8700 headlights. I get the issue with the adapter for the fogs to avoid splicing/cutting. So the anti flicker harness is just for the headlights? I've seen other have issues with flickering with the fogs. How does the anti flicker harness work with the fog adapter if at all? Are people getting anti flicker for both headlights and fogs? I think for dropping nearly a $1k on lights, there shouldn't be an issue.

Thanks.

I agree. I won't spend money on mods that are finished from the manufacturer. Thank goodness for forums.

I'm currently using the JW's 8700 with TL anti flicker harness, plug and play and everything is working as it should. Install took less then 10 minutes.

I got my JW speaker headlights in the mail and was kind of confused about the whole adapter issue. Do I have to purchase both the anti flicker harness and the h4 to h13 converter? Or does the anti flicker harness handle the h4 to h13 conversion.

The flicker is specific to certain JKs, 2012+ I think. It's because of the power being run through the CANBUS system. Integrating the harness into the headlight kit would require them to manufacture two models of the headlight, and if you think that's going to keep prices down I've got some beachfront property in Oklahoma for sale.
