What better gift is there than the gift of safety.
Chicks dig that. You'd be showing that you care.

Got a great deal on mine, no fitment issues and installation went on smoothly. So now I hope I do not get any condensation which is my main concern. Noticed the gap this morning as well and I hope its not the reason for condensation. Then again, I replaced the OE lights like three times under warranty due to condensation. I guess it happens, but I am hoping it does not and if it does I can get a replacement.

I read about halfway through the thread and found no one to complain about the reverse lights. Is it just me? I back into my garage every night and I find myself driving off the edge of the driveway sometimes. I had a guy at my work tell my he thought one of my reverse light were out.

Perhaps the revers light is more highly regulated, but I see out the back of my wife's 2015 car and I used to be able to see out the back of my Jeep. I am keeping them and ordered some flush mounts for my bumper, but maybe something is just wrong with my two.

Anyone else having issues?

The first one is in total darkness, looks much brighter than when backing. The second is with lights on. Maybe it is just because they don't light up the ground at all. I don't know, but now I need additional lights to see up my driveway.

I think someone mentioned them being an after thought and I'll have to agree on that. I honestly thought they were gonna be a lot brighter since we are talking about JW Speakers, but I think the red blades are so bright that they provide way more light than I had before. I do think the main feature being focused on in this product were the blades. I am pretty sure they are gonna improve the backup lights on their second version though.

No crystal ball here either but I'd be "sure" of very little. As for brightness - it is a regulated issue and some of us harp on lights being DOT approved and legal. Back-up lights are for notifying other drivers you are backing up not so you can illuminate the route.
If that were the case, you see some pretty amazing "back up lights" as options on vehicles.

We're just lucky like that. Mine loves them too, she only wishes JW Speaker made headlights, fogs, and tail lights for her car. I suspect at some point she may convert completely and get her own Jeep, she already called dibs on mine if I want a new one, no trade in or selling it.

I upgraded my stock reverse lights with some eBay specials, those 80w bulbs. They did ok, you could see the difference for sure, but nothing like having a 8" LED light bar on the back (love this thing, wired to switch and I only use it on my property or off road trails).

I do know that by themselves the JWS reverse lights are whiter, but not very bright. When I'm backing up in the carport I need additional lighting now to see, with the eBay lights I had enough I was ok.

Quoted for the sheer truthfulness of it.

If you need more light for driving in reverse, use supplemental lighting and use it wisely.

Hi there, I have a pair of this Tail light to sell, I bought from Element offload one week ago, but in my Eu Jk ..doesn't fit.
I can arrange a new Plug maybe an adaptor, but for me will be more simple to buy the new ECE version .. so if somebody want to save some bucks ..send me an email or a pm ..

I was chatting w/ Northridge today inquiring about some maximus parts and lo and behold out of nowhere, the rep "Maxx" told me that he could give me 20% off JW Speaker today.

Forget Black Friday, I just ordered the JW Tail Lights for $273.60 SHIPPED.

I have the maximus tire carrier. My lights should be here next Monday. I also ordered the maximus hi lift and side rotopax. Once received I'll let you know if there's any interference.
