K&N air filter

Another simple question. I just bought a K&N air filter for my 11 unlimited. I buy them for all my vehicles. Will it do any good in the wrangler?

If anything it will do harm by letting in particles that can damage your engine.

I took mine off after less than 3k miles. Didn't notice any difference in power or mileage. I concerned about the dust and potential problems from deep water crossing!

Again, with the checking the forum first theory. I think the general consensus is that in a JK a good paper element filter is better. Your stock filter is actually very good. I have run K&N in other vehicles and a Streamline in an M3, but those weren't JK's. I did consider it but decided against it in our 10 Rubi. I guess it was the old habits thing.

No good. Save your money next time. Stock jeep air system is already free flowing, not need for expensive filters.
