okay so i have made my descion and im going to start with an air filter exhaust and chip now i know what exhaust im going with and im gonna go with Borla. but now for the air filter and Chip for the air filter im down to K&N and AEM i was hoping for some info and reviews on here. and for the chip i was thinking a banks power chip. or should i go with another just help out a young wrangler owner who doesnt want to make a mistake and waste money that he is already tight on
Don't get K&N. They are no longer a great choice. All they benefit is dirt in your intake. The only place you will find good reviews of a K&N filter is from them.

I like the AEM oilless filter. I never had a problem with it on my TJ or dust on the intake pipes...
I guess I must of over oiled my K&N on my Tacoma, I had oil residue on the intake pipe and some oil on some sensors.

IMO, get a programmer and call it a day. Several folks on this forum, including me, use and love the Superchips Flashpaq for their '07-'10 JK's. Personally, I won't waste my time (and money) on intake and exhaust mods (until that time that I supercharge it, of course!)
