KC lights Remote on/off

Just got these on, Decided to to use a remote switch rather than try to run a wire to dash. Getting older and its harder to crawl around under a dash. Bought $15 remote and wired to relay, so far works find. Not crazy about the light guards, but for now their keeping the antenna away from the glass lens.

Nifty set up... I like the clean install.

What is it exactly? Brand and such?

Please elaborate...

Just the remote, KC's are common....

That is why I went withe Warn Wireless driving lights. Install was a snap! I ended up getting a 14" antenna and it took care of the problem of slapping against the light.

Krutj, Bought everything from Amazon, Remote is Logisys part # RM01. u get a remote relay and two transmitters. here is a link, not sure it will work.
Amazon.com: Logisys RM01 - Power control kit 12VDC 6 AMP with 2 REMOTES: Electronics

Was looking at The Warn/remote, but being retired and haven't time to play I thought I'd get the 130w KC and try my hand at wiring them remote.

What light mount did you use? The Mopar ones should have a bracket to keep the antenna away from the light OR you can buy a stubby antenna OR turn the stock antenna so it sweeps back behind the light OR I've seen people bend their antena into a "z" like formation to go behind the light.

Contact Antenna-X (forum vendor). Or click on one of the links in this thread:

Replace stock antenna...
