Anyone put these in the sound bar? Worth the $85.00? Thanks!

I bought mine for around $65 / pair and I would say they are worth it. It was a nice easy no-splice upgrade.

I have them in my soundbar and dash. They are a nice upgrade from the stock crap. I swapped out the tweeters with Pioneer tweeters Amazon.com: Pioneer TS-T110 7/8-Inch Hard-Dome Tweeter (Pair): Car Electronics and the headunit with a Pioneer AVIC-Z150BH.
Much, much better now!

Were the tweeters plug and play? How did the Kickers sound before new head unit?

No, the tweeters were not plug and play. I had the splice the wires and dremel the opening for them to fit. The only plug and play tweeter replacements I've seen are from Quadratec Quadratec Exclusive JK-TWEET11 - Super Tweeters (Pair) for 11-14 Jeep® Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK - Quadratec. I think they are quite hideous.
The Pioneers look much nicer, IMO (photo).
The Kickers were a good improvement over the stocks but with the new headunit they really shine.

Worth it? Over the premium speakers?
Meh.... Barely...

Oh, and look around, you can find them for less.

Chrysler calling any of the JK/JKU factory audio options "premium" is funny.
