Leak around windshield. Opinions wanted

So I have been noticing alot of water in the front passenger foot area (underneath glove compartment) and brought it to the dealer and basically the seal underneath the windshield is about gone and water keeps funneling in every rain storm

Long story short. They want $580.00 u.s. American dollars to fix it. It is so expensive bc it is very labor indused. Does anyone know the name of this seal and if I have better luck bringing it elsewhere for cheaper? $580.00 seems awfully steep to fix something that shouldn't happen in the first place

Thoughts are appreciated

Replace a seal on the soft top roof (useless) bc thats not where the leak is coming from and replace the rubber seal under neath the windshield as well. Apparently it is A "labor intensive" fix. Yet, they will have the product in over night and will be ready tomorrow

Just buy some clear window sealant and seal around the edges yourself. Done.

Are they talking about the seal where the windshield frame folds?
