Leaking

Here in AZ we just went through two unusually heavy days of rain, and I find that the hard rain causes the doors to leak at the top. Is this common on the soft tops. Looks like with no rain gutter whater finds its way in

Go to the search field and type in "leaks". You'll drown in them. Pun intended. Actually, DON'T go use the search field. It will only serve to beat you down and crush your Jeep-loving spirit.

Is it leaking with the doors closed, or just getting inside when you open them? Water has a tendency to pool on the soft top, so when you open the door, you get an annoying little mini-shower...

How badly is it leaking? Enough to saturate seats and / or carpet?

By my guess (admittedly unscientific), about 80% of the time the leaks are caused by user error...the soft top or freedom tops aren't installed correctly. Also, over time the seals can dry out and lose some of their elasticity.

In your case it sounds like the leaking door might need to be adjusted slightly so it's a little tighter against the upper surround.
