Is it leaking while the door is shut? are you sure its the door and not the windshield?

I had door leaks in my Wrangler before. Took it to the dealership and they fixed a seal on top of the door.

I ran my wrangler through a car wash yesterday and has a small amount of water dripping through where the front two pieces of the hardtop meet over the windshield, do you think I maybe mashed a seal down wrong, or is this common with the 2007s?

Send a message via Yahoo to iamagolfspaz
I believe that the roof leak was very common in the earlier models.

nope no wind noise at all. just both doors leak, right at the top of the dash.

Even though my top hasn't ever leaked, after I installed my roll cage---there was a slight whistle from the top of the drivers door, so

I marked and moved (INBOARD) the top door hinge, about 1/16 inch--

That misposition can also lead to door/"T" top, water leaks-

Not necessarily the cure all, but the position of the top of the doors/seal-is adjustable !!

Good luck

Do your recall what you paid. I just brought it to the dealler for two leaky doors and they want to charge me $700 for new door weather stripping. Any thoughts?

Lightbulb I must........

........ be fortunate! Auto Power Washs, heavy rain and having removed the 2-front pcs of my hard-top a few times, no leaks as yet

Replacement position and not over-tightening the hand-wheels at the music/speaker-bar have a lot to do with it (learned this from Jimbox)

Get the thumbscrews STARTED, when you first put the "T" tops back on, then after the "latch" sequence--just fingertip tight for the thumbscrews-

Good info there...

Finally solved an onto-the-center-consol type leak from the center of the freedom tops just by loosening the thumbscrews. I had been tightening more and more to try to stop the leak before I read Jimbo's advice.....

Some people don't even usem--I don't condone that, they secure the lateral movement/stability of the top on the hiwy/speeds !!

Good day-
