Leaking freedom top

I am sure this has been addressed before, but I searched real quick and didn't see anything. My 07 JKU freedom top is leaking in the front center where the two top sections meet the front. More when i hit the brakes in the rain or if it is parked on a down slope Anyone had this same leak? How was it remedied? Here is a pic. U can see the drops of water if u look close.

Did you install the panels correctly per instructions?

How does the seals look, missing/ripped/folded over ?

Anything blocking the rain channel in the header like spider eggs/mud/etc?

Try coating the seals with a product like 303, Sometimes that helps too.

Good luck

mine leaked one time in the same spot i just didnt have my panels sitting properly... when you set each side down in position pick it back straight up then set it straight back down to make sure it sits flat on the seals... mine hasnt leaked since

My hardtop has leaked slightly since I bought it. Rubbing some silicone paste on the seals helps to some degree, but from what I understand leaks are relatively common issues, and hard to fix, even by the dealer (some dealer shops even make them worse). At first I was perturbed, but 9 months later and with the tops and doors totally off in this northeast heatwave it doesn't seem like such a problem.

Also, make sure they are aligned at the header edge. They can be offset up to 1/4" and will leak. I proved this one to a friend with an '07.

Thanks for all the help. I will try a few of these ideas and see what happens.
