Unhappy Help! My Jeep leaks when it rains.

I have a 2007 Jeep Wrangler X soft top. The other day it was raining all day non-stop. While I was driving water started to leak in through the top of the door. I haven't noticed this before until that day. Is this normal for soft tops? Is there something I have to buy to prevent this?

You can buy some 1/2 inch foam weather stripping and put in in the front top of the door surround. That solved my problem when I accidently tore off the factory weather strip.

Alright thanks. But mine only leaks when I open the door. Will a weather strip fix my problem still?

Happens all the time to me, water channels down the small space where the seal is, just part of jeep ownership. Just saw that you said it happened while driving, had it stop raining by then and you rolled down your window?

No I leave the windows up usually now just cause of the cold. It happened while the windows were up and it was raining.
