Leaks?

Anyone else get water puddles on the front floor board when it rains a lot? Driver side specifically? Not sure of its just me, a half door thing with the window seals maybe, or all jeeps experience this? Wanted to see if anyone else gets this and knows where it's coming in, I wasn't able to quite pinpoint it yet...

Same problem too, sounds pretty common. I am thinking of getting a cab cover since my Jeep is not a daily driver.

If it is the driver side, closely examine the seal at the passenger door and compare it to the driver door. The seal should make the water run on the outside. There is a thread on here about a fold or bend in seal the allowed water to run behind. It is up by the top front.

Thanks for the quick replies! I will research this some and see what others have done to correct it! Thanks again and Happy Thanksgiving!

Leaks in Jeeps are a known issue. If it is a lot, I say don't try to screw with it and just bring it to your dealer. They have a manual just for fixing leaks. Kind of sad they have a manual for it but at least they are fixing them.

I have had numerous leaks. Get one fixed and another pops up. Some people just live with it. I wont accept it. My Jeep has been back to the dealer 8 different times for leaks. All I can say is I hope you have better luck than me.

Here's a leak that I've had! Rate at the corner of the hood the sealant cracks underneath the paint and then water pushes in the crack while you're driving! The other is at the base of the windshield and the firewall I had to put some black sealant around there to stop it from leaking. Also check underneath your AM/FM radio antenna the sealant under there leaks in. The water will run in the mount holes while your vehicle is sitting in the rain!

So tonight I couldn't take it anymore, and took my Jeep through a touchless car wash to get all the blasted salt off it. I did get a little water in during the high pressure rinse, but only from the windows where both zippers meet. I didn't notice any leakage from the upper portion of the door at all. If that's the only leakage I get, I'll take it!
