Leaving soft top front open.

I have a 09 unlimited. I thought i saw somewhere you can fold open the front part and leave it. I did a quick search and everything was after market tops. Is it possible have to Velcro it down with the straps?

My owners manual says you don't "need" the straps under 40mph but I put mine on every time.. I love my sun rider, I'm sure you will too.

When you open it up make sure to fold the top back so it's fully open. Pull the center of the plastic section that clips into the upper door Frame towards the rear.

oh that's pretty cool. Not sure why you wouldn't just fold all the way back though besides if you're in a rush...but if you own a jeep, I don't see anyone being in a rush lol.

Exactly. I like it for that short trip when you know the weather isn't going to hold.

See the tabs?? You will have one on each side to keep tension on the rest of the top when your sun rider is open.. Also the side frame work for the top will have thick plastic hinge section.

YouTube jeep sunrider top. There are a ton of how to videos on the topic. They will show you step by step what to do in two minutes. It will also show you what to look for to see if you have a sunrider top. Give it a whirl. YouTube is a great resource.
