LED lights blinking fast & slow!!?

Installed 2 different sets of rear led lights and both blink fast or slow at anytime. I can't understand why. They came from quadratec and shipped out a another set but same ending. Any info would be great.

Is this the turn signal? There has been discussion on this. Something about installing resistor modules.

A few discussions here about installing LED's. STD flasher unit won't work with them properly as you're experiencing. Here's one thread.

Thanks guys, sorry for the useless thread. All the links you sent were great and the ligths are going back. I am not dealing with resistors when I paid over 250 for them. Thanks again for the quick response and help.

They're supposed to be plug and play but they're not. Almost bought them myself when some helpful threads on this saved me the hassle. Decided to keep the bulbs.

I figured plug n play as well. Would think quadratec would pull something off the site until it's perfected.

You've got to love that Canbus system! Anyways, there is very little benefit to LED indicator lights to justify the high cost. A better upgrade is to replace all the interior dome/map light bulbs with brighter LEDs. Also put a couple LED pucks in the footwells (powered off the Dome circuit) and you'll actually be able to see the interior of your Jeep when you open the doors. I also put LEDs under the hood and a complete rock light system under the frame (VisionX Tantrums), all without any problems with the Canbus and all less than the $250 you paid.

Money is not the issue,I just wanted to brighten up the brake lights thats all. I wanted a more up to date look for the rear end. I cannot understand why companies would sell them when they are not perfected. I wonder what the percentage is of people returning them? Thanks for the tips on the interior lights.

All of the vendors sell scores of dubious products.
It's a very rare vendor that will pass up easy money.
