I saw the build date on the door sticker and asked the salesman and he told me. Mine was only there for a week; the odometer read '0' when I got in it for the test drive. It did hit '1' as I was pulling out of the lot though.
The Air Force FINALLY sent me back home to Florida. Ahhhh, Emerald Coast sugar sand.
That had to be the trip computer that someone reset. They get several miles put on them in the factory during the roll test, loading and unloading on the Cassens trailer, etc.
Don't know about 0, but mine had 1 mile on it... It never made the regular dealer lot, it sat in the overflow lot amongst a sea of Fiat 500's and one lonely Challenger 392. It was cool knowing that the only people to drive my Jeep were someone at the factory and the guy that moved it on and off the transport.
Sounds like they've had it a little while. If that's the one you want, offer them 10% off list (about 2% below invoice) and try to get the trade value you want. If you are taking a loan to purchase this is achievable as they get a kickback from the bank.
Sticker inside the door should say Feb/2013.
