Greg, grab the smart key for that bad boy and go take it to get a Peach Smoothie.
Man, 28k for a 2 wheel drive Wrangler. Whooda thunk it.
So Greg is there going to be any Dealer markup on these?
We are NOT adding a market adjustment to them since we are the largest Jeep Dealer in ahe Dallas marketing area (TX, LA, OK, AR) we will have the largest allocation. No need to Rake people over if they want one. I know there are a lot of dealers who will but not us... It's not the Ancira Way!
I make my living selling Jeeps so think of me
if you are in the market for one!
See you on the trail again soon,
GREAT RIDE... It√Ę‚ā¨‚ĄĘs a lot like a cross between the last generations of Grand Cherokees and the 2001 XJs no doubt when you drive it this is 100% Jeep DNA.
I like: The loops for the door swing limiters and the power source to the electric door locks and windows are integrated into one piece and come with a handy clip for removing the doors.
The acceleration is fantastic and you will be stunned by how quiet it is next to no road sounds are transmitted into the occupant compartment and even with its extended length the handling is crisp and nimble. If you hit a speed bump in this Jeep at speeds of more than 25 MPH you will not need to check for body or undercarriage damage but you will know you just hit a bump√Ę‚ā¨¬¶
The Upgraded Stereo Rocks and even a guy of my stature 250 lbs. and 5' 7" tall fits well in the drivers√Ę‚ā¨‚ĄĘ seat or in the back seat for that matter.
The Cup holder is big enough for a Peach Smoothie from Sonic and all the car hops had to come out to take a look at it.
I will admit the one we have seems to have a disturbing wind noise in the hard top at highway speeds but we will put it in service tonight and see if we can track down the source of the noise. I think it will only take minor adjustment to the latch to get rid of this excess wind noise because it not happening on the Driver√Ę‚ā¨‚ĄĘs side.
If you are in the market for a Jeep this one will not disappoint you at all, now just pick do you need a Four Door or a Two Door?
See you on the trail again soon,
Is the hype around the new models always this...crazy?
Pretty much, Since there have only been like 4 over all model changes in the Wrangler/CJ in the last 40 years it gets kind of crazy in public when a new one came out. I'd say that the change from the TJ to the JK was about as wild as it was from the YJ to the TJ back in 96/97.

RIght. I remember how people would say how ugly the TJ was and that they would never own one. They said the same thing about the YJ. Actually, even I said that about the YJ when it came out. Opinions change, though. I love all the Jeeps, even if they are not all for me.
No comment is more ridiculous though than someone saying they don't like a YJ because of the square headlights. If that is what someone bases their vehicle purchases on, then they probably would actually kick the tires on a car lot.
In order to keep up with the H3's,Xterra's and
the "new" FJ Cruiser they had no choice.
Chrysler~Jeep had to make some changes to the
Wrangler or the '06 would have been the last.
I think the 4 door is a good idea not to fond of
the engine they decided to put in it.I think a hemi
would have been a nice choice but hopefully this
version appeals to the masses and the Wrangler's
will live on

There was alot of hub-bub when the YJ came out, then alot when the TJ came out-- it was pretty much the same-- "Oh my, what did they do!?! That thing is ugly/weak/slow/incapable/junk/whatever!!!"
Now look at them, we all love them!
From what I have heard, it was the same thing when the CJ's went from flat fender(CJ-2's & 3's) to round fenders (CJ-5). As history has it, the CJ-5 ran for almost 30 years and still is (in my opinion, being a 'CJ Guy' ) what all are judged by.
I'm sure a JK will be our next Jeep, in a few years...
I sure wish selling jeeps wasn't a commission job. I like talkin' jeeps but after three years as an army recruiter I knew I probably could never make it in sales. What's it like as an internet sales rep, same rules apply as lot sales?
I just received a bright silver 4 door Rubicon (ordered 8/18) and was surprised at how comfortable and agile it is. The top does not leak as some boards have stated. The top is very easy to remove and the stereo is terrific.
The only flaw I've found is the stupid automatic door locks. I can't find a way to disconnect them, and I hate having to unlock the doors all the time. One other minor problem is everyone stopping me to ask about it and comments like "Is it like a Hummer?"
The prior Jeep was a TJ Sahara and the new JK is much more comfortable. The JK is very quiet, even with the knobby tires. I'll take it out to the desert this weekend and see how it works where it really matters.
I'd be happy to respond to any questions about the vehicle.
yea my 2007 2dr x has been build last friday and I can't wait to get it , I've always had my eyes on jeeps and scince my 1996 explorer finaly died :o it provided me with great opp. to buy a jeep wrangler
I couldn't repair your brakes, so I made your horn louder.
