You can plasti-dip over them if you like...or just take the emblem off.

Do it! I took my JEEP emblem off and dipped the grill! (the bright spot on the left hand side is a reflection behind the grill)

Guys, total newbie here. How do you actually do this? Do you remove the grill? Do you tape it off? Defi Italy want to do this, just don't know where to start.

Now you got me thinking. Will Rhino liner stick (and flex) on the factory bumpers and fender flares ??

Remove the grill, you will not have to tape anything. Six push clips across the top. Pry the inner piece out with a flat screwdriver and then pull the inserts out with your fingers. There are a few clips across the bottom. After removing the top ones the lowers ones pull out towards you.

Put 1 light coat and then 3-4 more coats on the grill. I used 2 cans on mine. Keep the final coat damp looking until you get the grill coated so you wont have dull and bright spots. Let it dry for a few hours and then you can install it.

I bought a new take off grill to paint and plastidipped it black and after a few months I got tired of the black grill on my white wrangler and went back to the stock white grill. I have been kicking around selling the siliver take off one I bought.

Once you go black you never go back. Here's my bedlined grill. I sprayed it twice with plasti-dip and liked it but the dip would chip and start pealing. So I decided to make it permanent.
