Sheep Bridge.

No action shots - actually most of the trip was a bumpy fire road. Only the last few hundred feet had any challenge, which keeps the stock 4x4s up by the bridge (you can see a white one) and away from the beach.

We originally bought the Jeep to support our hobbies - benchmarking and rockhounding. In 2007 we were reaching out limits driving the trails in our car. The last trip in the car we were surrounded by 4x4s and quads staring at us. We didn't get stuck but figured we should go buy a new 4x4, and immediately thought of a Jeep. After getting the Jeep we also found that people around here actually drive the Jeep around on trails for fun, and it is!

This trip was for rockhounding, and for most Jeepers it isn't a lot of fun watching us hunt around for hours looking for rocks.

We’ve done this trip 3 or 4 times (all previously with Jeepers to just enjoy the trail and scenery), and it’s the first time we crossed the Verde at this location (it looked like the water would only come up to the bumper and wasn’t so strong that it would knock us over).

It looks like you made it up to Sedona, nice! Anyway, after my long winded answer, our group trips tend to wait for the temps to cool down in the valley a bit, and my wife and I tend to head out on our own the other times. We’ll probably do something with a group in October.

Have 4 or so locals ready for intermediate trails. Don't have the 35's but want the adventure...

That is a pretty cool shot. Great idea for a Jeep commercial!

Can't really tell, but the last picture doesn't look like a designated trail. Going off the trail, and trying to climb chit is what's getting our trails closed. People need to wheel more difficult trails, not make their own!
