Lifetime Bumper 2 Bumper Warranty on my 09 JK

I received a letter from my dealer offering a second chance to buy the "Lifetime Bumper to Bumper Warranty" until the end of this month for $1900 I believe.

Anyone know more info about it? Any hidden things I should know about it or just thoughts in general if it's worth it?

Are you the original owner? If so, I thought you got that warranty for free with the purchase of the Jeep. If not,Get it.

My dealer told me that any mods like a lift kit void the aftermarket warrenty, they wouldn't even sell me one. Check it out!

They cannot void the warranty on the whole Jeep, only the part the lift would be responsible for. Your stereo, power windows or tail gate could'nt be held accountable for something wromg with your lift. If you buy a good lift then the company probably would make good on it.

My experience with Bumper to Bumper warranties is that it only covers the bumpers, and nothing in between

They wouldn't even touch my AC on my GMC, even tho it was under a B2B. They did change the starter tho.

Yes, I'm the original owner. Bought it back in May so I have the Lifetime Powertrain. I heard the Bumper to Bumper doesn't cover anything major, just AC, Radio, alternator.

Kind of funny 7 months later they're still trying to sell it. Can't imagine it's going to be worth it unless I keep it for 10+ years, but I'll probably buy the new one after 4-5 years especially if they put that automatic softtop I've been praying for, for the last 13 years.

If it's the same b2b I bought with my 09 it's not an aftermarket warranty it's through D/C and will also cover any aftermarket parts that are thru the mopar aftermarket product line.

If it's the same as mine it covers pretty much everything except wear items and it actually gives a list of the items not covered. It wasn't much of a list. Mostly obvious things like belts, tires, clutches, brakes etc.

I did the 10 year b2b service contracts plan. I paid off 1,200 over the course of a year for it. I plan on keeping the Jeep forever so its worth it.
