Lift

I have a 2010 4 door rubicon. I want to lift it 2.5in. Can I keep the stock rubicon shocks? Or do I have to get new ones?

yes with relocation brackets. some lift kits.. like one of TeraFlex's include them.. with their 2.5" kit though - you might be able to get away with keeping your stock shocks...

Why would you? Your lifting to upgrade the suspension. Shocks are a key part. Upgrade them.

X2

At least do the extensions, but I agree with the last post. You are upgrading the suspension. Shocks are key. Longer shocks will let the jeep perform better/flex off road.

X2 on the above...if you are planning on doing some pretty good wheeling save your dough and do it right the first time...if you are doing it for looks mainly(nothing wrong with that at all by the way) just do a budget boost with spacers and you will save money and time with the ease of install.

Exactly how it sounds. Coils lift the jeep above the axles. Body pucks only lift the body.
