Lift & Regear question in NYC

OK - So I've been pretty set on getting 33s on my 07 Sahara but am now leaning towards 35s.

Lift - I know I will need one. Any recommendation on the minimum lift height? I don't want to get too high - I want to be able to fit 35s without rubbing issues but I don't want it to be so high that I can't get in.

Gearing - According to my build sheet, I have 3.21 rear axle ratio. I imagine that will have to be increased. I have read that for 35s, the gear ratio would have to be changed to provide the right power. I have also read that it's not a simple task. Anyone have any idea where I can get the work done in the NY tri-state area? I live in Brooklyn.

As far as the lift look around this is an extrememly common question. Quick answer is 2-2.5 inches of licft you can fit 35s without modifiying the fenders. You will want to get spacers if you use the stock wheels or get wheels with 4.5in of back spacing or less. You can put 35s on stock but you have to cut your fender flares and pinch seam to do so.

For where to get gearing done try your local forums as well. Good luck.
