Lift kit death wobble question

Hey guys im on the edge of getting a 2.5 budget boost lift kit with shocks. I dont offroad that much i just want it for the looks. The only thing stopping me is reports of the infamous death wobble. How common is this? Do alot of you experience this?

Thanks

Stabilizer and your good. It's never happened to me with my 2.5 lift and 35" tires.

stabilizer has nothing to do with death wobble.

it happens when parts wear out, but it is generally trackbar related.

stock jeeps will wobble just the same as any other jeep. it's just the nature of the beast. google planman's deathwobble guide to get yourself an idea of what is happening.

You can get death wobble on stock suspension and a steering stabilizer does not fix or prevent it. It can be caused by numerous loose or worn parts, that aren't even part of the lift. Bigger tires can help contribute to these parts wearing quicker than normal though. Search on here for how to diagnose death wobble for a lot more insight on what causes it.

I increased the caster to +5 by installing adjustable control arms. No more wobble !
