Cool lift/shocks help please!!

I'm new at this and have a question hopefully someone can help me with.

I have an '08 Sahara that I absolutely LOVE. A few months ago I did a 1.75" spacer lift, 33" tires and new shocks. (disclaimer: I don't know a damn thing about under the hood or the suspension etc, I just drive it and love it). I know changing the suspension will mess with it a little, but my ride is crazy rough now. When I drive over a bump in the road I can barely see I feel like I'm off roading on terrain that's never seen a vehicle before. Is it normal to be sooo rough? Is there anything I can do about??

thanks for your help!!

Shouldn't be rough, especially since you didn't change the OE springs and I assume you have the OE shocks still too. What kind of 33's are you running? An M/T or A/T? PSI could do it too. Or could be that your are just being anal retentive about it, expecting to find something wrong??

In reality, you didnt change much to warrant a harsh ride.

Could the tires be over inflated?

I have Procomp shocks, front: 924510, rear: 924507

the website is: Pro Comp ES9000 Series - Shock Absorbers - Shock Absorbers & Shock Accessories - Lift Kits, Suspensions and Shocks - by Pro Comp

will check tire pressure...that'd be awesome if that was the problem, easy fix. definitely not looking for something to be wrong, it's been a few months and several people have commented on how rough the ride is...

I believe those were the same shocks we had on one of our two doors and the ride was relatively firm. I would bet it has more to do with tire psi.

I'd check the air pressure for sure. A few pounds makes a lot of difference.

Yep... They have a good rebate going.

The shocks should be here tomorrow. I was thinking about starting of at 5 and go from there

Are you planning on the remote ?

My tires are BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A LT 305/65R18. Not that much bigger than my stock tires, which were set at 35psi. My tires now including my spare vary between 42-51psi, so regardless I need to even the pressure out... sooo how do I know the correct pressure since it's not in the owners manual???
