I gonna post before the lift pictures.
After the lift pictures.
And after i hit a deer not even a week later pictures.
I bought a 3.5'' skyjacker lift $600, crager soft 8 wheels 15x8's (5 for $261, BF Goodrich KM2's 35x12.50xr15 (4 for $1070).
When i hit the deer i had my 2 year old son with me. We are both ok. I was scared sh*t less. My son, after we hit the deer and we were on the side of the rode (he can talk and say a couple of words but not much) he goes, WHHHOOOOAAAAA! LMAO! I couldnt help but start rolling. I love him to death.
wow man sorry to hear that your Jeep got banged up but as I'm sure every post that follows will say, glad that you and your little one were not hurt. Gotta love kids because just when things look really bad they chime in and put a smile on your face.
You're lucky dude. When I hit a deer back in March the stupid thing did $9600 worth of damage to the Jeep. Thank God for 0 deductible comprehensive coverage.
Were you not the guy who posted for the first time while stuck inside a flooding jeep?
Come a long way huh? You made all the right moves. You should go put a hurtin on that hole if it's still there. Them tires will be your new best friends.
Before you do anything with the fenders you need to take it out in the mud and romp on it. My buddies TJ has just an inch or two of stick out and he can put a nice perfectly even dressing of mud on the entire jeep in the smallest of mud holes. In my jk I can only get that same cutoff line you see in your pics. Take pics if you go.
Glad you and the kiddo made it out ok. I highly suggest your next mod be a real front bumper. Something like the deershredder 2000 should work....haha. But seriously a winch bumper is alway a great thing to have but even a good solid metal bumper with a couple recovery points is far better than stock. Our deer (moose) up here can weigh upwards of 1400 pounds. We always say the more metal the better. For the kiddo get a good one. Or at least use that to justify it to the better half.
Yeah I'm that guy lol! And they have sense covered it up! and I plan on custom caving this one. I'm really good with metal. Since that is my occupation.
I ask the cop when he showed up to make the police report if there was a law against it. He said not that he knows of. Plus if a doon buggy can ride on the rode without fenders why can't we?
Glad you're both ok...i've been in an accident with my 4yr old son years ago, totaled the suv. But he was strapped in and just fine, didn't phase him at the time...just a little wide eyed, like as your son said, WHOOAAAA...lol He did end up with a couple bruises on his shoulders from the carseat straps...i felt bad for him..
It does look pretty badass with the flares off! I like it!
And great use of the BL boxes....lol
I was gonna say go get those MCE flatty fenders. But doesn't look like they make em for JKs...great looking rig.........STILL
Lol! Yeah I wondering if anyone was gonna say anything about the BL boxes.
Smitty built make a flat fender that I really like tho. I'm hoping that they just cut me a check and ill do it all myself. They being the insurance company.
Yea thats about the number of BL boxes i have laying around the garage after a Sat of watching football, messing with the jeep, and BBQ'n with friends...
they usually end up in the fire pit, by the end of the weekend..
