Light Bar Lights

Hi All,

Since I'm not running the Baja 1000, cruising along at 100+ MPH during the night on a dirt road, I don't really need those gazillion candle power/lumen driving spots . I'm more interested in wide angle lights to let me see the occasional coyote or wabbit thinking about crossing in front of me.

The typical light bar that mounts in front of a JK grill has mounts for 3 lights. Does anyone run with a single spot in the middle and two fogs/wide angle lights in the other mounts? If so, are you happy with the results?

Thanks.

Regards.

Are you talking about using them on-road or off? Most states you can't use the long range lights on-road, and there are laws about # and placement of lights for on-road use, as well.

CA seems a little...draconian. Might wanna check before you buy.

Thanks. I'm aware of the rules of the road.

But to be clear, YES, off-road ONLY.

I put two IIPA 520 ATP lights on Quadratech mounts in front of my grill. They are wired to go on with my highbeams. I am very happy with them, they light up the shoulders of the road very well, for a long way!

Three Rigid D2s, one centered, and two shooting off to the side a bit will illuminate everything you could ever want.

Sorry; I have PIAA lights, it was late when I posted my response.
