KC makes a hood mount light bar.

I like those, but my concern is that they may not be legal in some states. some states require they be covered. MD is kind of vague. MD states that auxiliary driving lights cannot be mounted higher than 42". Technically speaking mine are illegal, but at least I keep them covered on the road.

The problem with the Delta lights are they are only 55W each. I have the bumper bar and its nice, just not as aggressive looking or as bright as KC's or whatever 6" lights you want...

WranglerX2009's light bar would be unlawful in three states I know of. Many states have "bright light laws" that control the display and operation of lights; in an effort to stop IPOs (impersonating a police officer etc.). In my state you are likely to get pulled over by state troopers who will want to know the reason for having such a light bar. It does not take much imagination to wonder how many violations one coould reveive...obstruction of view, unlawful display of a lighting device, non DOT devices etc..the list could go on and on!

It is better to stick with Mopar lights or buy duct tape as the men in blue might ask you to cover them....this is an after thought (getting old!)
