if your talking headlights i would say truck lite headlights half the price as JW speaker and give out just about the same light output - although Jw speaker light are better but not double the price better. yes truck lite have the X but it soon blends in after like a week of driving with them

tail light i would say its all in the design you like so many different styles just need to find the one that sparks your interest

fog lights find ones that match your head lights in color output - your don't want bright white headlights and then get fog lights with a yellow tint in them

AuX lights - that a different story and my 2 cents is if your going to use them don't be cheap if they are cosmetic and u might use them 5 times just to be cool on a empty road infront of your friends then go cheap

My set up
- Headlights - Truck lite
- Fog lights - JW speaker
- Tail light - JW speaker
- AuX lights - Rigid Industries diffused (as reverse lights) and a pillar with a rough country 50 inch on the top of windshield

my RI reverse lights are not hooked up to me being in reverse they have their own switch cause i use them for camping lights as well.

I'm running the Truck Lite's in mine with Vision X LED fogs in the Smitty front bumper. Great lights and coverage... and no complaints from any oncoming drivers.

I just installed the Quadratrec Stealth lights on my JK, and they're pretty awesome. I bought the conversion kit, so I got the headlights, fog lights and anti flicker harnesses for under less than the JW headlights alone. Like, a few hundred less. They look great, work great, and for the money I feel they're the best deal around.

Personally for the JW Speakers and if you watch the sales are work with some of the vendors on the forum you can get them for close to what Trucklites, KC's, or Qtec's cost.

this has almost become a ford vs chevy or Nikon vs Canon debate. All are good products it just comes down to personal preference.

How much is your budget? There are various lights out there at different budget ranges. The lights vary from a reflector and H4 light upgrade to LED lights. Here is a ballpark for what they cost. All of the LED lights shown below get good reviews. I personally have the Cibie reflectors with H4 bulbs and I am satisfied. I'm sure the LED headlights are better, but I just did not want to spend that much on headlights.

Cibie reflectors with H4 bulbs - $120
JW Speaker - $756
Trucklite - $550
Quadratec LED headlights - $400
KC LED headlights - $524

Truck Lite's are 399.00 in a lot of places. I paid 329.99 for mine through Amazon with another 50.00 or so for anti flickers and harness. Came with free shipping as well.

Hella E4's…the non DOT approved European versions are another good option. You can find them on Amazon for around $42.00 each with a 55/60W bulb. Upgrading to a higher wattage bulb will need a relay…with an anti flicker device to keep the relay from chattering. I went this way first with a pair of 90/130 bulbs. The light was just too yellow for my taste. There are many bulb choices however, so you could be happy with this type of setup for 100-150. They put out a ton of light!

These are the best I have had installed for around $300 shipped. I have used Trucklites, KCs, and Quads about 7 or 8 different types of knock offs, these provide the best beam pattern I have saw. Never compared them to JW Speakers but JW makes a nice light as well

Lo beam

Hi beam
