Limb Risers for the JK...

I was looking into these because I like the functionality and the look... My buddy has had the river raiders for over a year and the galvanized cable is almost rusting now, and hardware is kind of shabby...

Is anyone running these? The look pretty solid & well designed comparing the $40 price difference...

I just installed mine over the weekend! They installed in 30 minutes and make my rig look like a beast now.

This is a local company in Massachusetts that makes these. Super fast shipping and beautiful quality. Their web site is on the packaging as offroadelements.com

It protects your hood from getting torn up by tree limbs. The roof, doors, etc. are still going to look like crap, but at least the hood isn't scratched.

My favorite quote from the press release.. sad but true: "Chrysler claims its products, especially the Jeeps, can handle all sorts of terrible conditions, churning through muddy swamps, climbing mountains, and crossing rivers. Turns out they cannot even handle a car wash."

These keep the windshield clear as well. It actually helps the doors too, the longer branches ride up to the roof instead of scratching the whole length.

Very satisfied with these, especially how there coated black.

They're more practical for a hardtop; branch rides up and over.
With a soft-top though, branch rides up and through the roof instead of just pinstriping the door....

Soft top takes light branches better than the paint!

these are interesting. How easy are the to put on and off and what does it look like when they're off? Of do these just stay on all the time now? What happens when you pop the hood? Just curious. I'm getting scratched to hell and back in the pines and would consider these.

I've been debating finding a way to rig hedge trimmers to the front of my jeep to clear a path...
