Has anyone sprayed the inside of the removable hartop sections w/ a product like Rhino-liner to cut down on noise?

I just installed "HotHeads" headliners on my Hard Top (with the optional rear-side liners) and it makes a big difference

The hotheads headliners is going on mine the minute I swap over to a soft top...whenever that may be. Probably next summer by the looks of things now.

Had the hothead headliner for over a year. One of the best mods yet. Much cooler and alot quieter.

If I had a hard top, I'd by the Hothead in a second.

Thanks for the link -

I noticed that they have the 3M and Velcro versions. Velcro is almost 20% more expensive. Any significant advantage to the velcro ones (other than the ability to remove them if necessary)?

Didn't know there was a price difference...but here's a recent thread about whether the velcro or the 3M version was better (although, seems to me that even the velcro version is attached w/3M tape/glue).

Hotheads - 3M vs Velcro

And here's a link about the Hothead in general:

hot head liners ?

good info.

after reading through those posts I saw another company that makes Insul-liners.
Their kit is $500+ - but it's panels are over 1" thick and they have a full description about how their panels are made. Seems like these things are over-priced for the amount of material. I'm thinking about making my own ...

I think there are a few folks on WF who've done that. Maybe some kind of quilted insulation or something...idk.
