Is one better than the other?

No experience with Rhino, but for what it's worth we got Line-X on our Silverado 2500HD (bed, inner tailgate, upper bed rails) almost two years ago, and it has been fantastic. The truck is used and abused (camping, construction business, hauling things) and it isn't showing any wear yet. We are very pleased!

Line-X is the way to go... do a Google search on line-x vs rhino and you will get some specifics... I have heard that Rhino has recently changed their formulation to what line-x has been using all along... just had my son's truck bed done by Line-X after researching the two.

I had Rhino liner in my Silverado for 5 years and never had an issue with it. I am a bit of a vehicle fanatic and keep everything clean all the time. It's thick and I like the fact nothing skids on it.

Btw I had the entire bed and tailgate lined.

I don't have any experience with Rhino, but my work truck has Line X and after 2 years and 83k miles, it's just starting to show age. Again, this is a WORK truck, I load pallets on it about 4 days a week. Since its a long bed, I put one pallet on, and push the first pallet up to the front with the second pallet/forklift. When unloading, I put a strap in first pallet and drag it back with customer's forklift.
It's gouged in about 3 places from nails or metal items weighing from about 200-600 lbs.
So, if I didn't have a work truck, my personal pickup would have Line X.

Rhino won't honor the warranty if sprayed in/on jeeps. I had a battle with them when I sprayed my first TJ with Rhino and it looked like pudding in spots and then I wore a hole through it with my boot heel. They patched it but you could see the patch of course. I got into it with the higher ups in Rhino and got emails stating they will not honor their lifetime warranty outside of truck beds. Never looked back, next TJ got sprayed in Gatorhyde and I love it. My JKU is sprayed too.

Nothing beats having stuff saved on the 'net forever - here's the email I got back from Rhino.

"I reviewed the receipt and the photos with my supervisor. She told me that
unfortunately there is nothing we can do. Rhino Linings, USA only warrantees
truck bed liners. If the jeep had any warranty that would be set up directly
through the dealership and customer only. Therefore we cannot send them a
complaint because they have not stated any warranty on their invoice other than
the standard warranty for truck bed liners and I can't complain about an
agreement I know nothing about. I do apologize and wish you the best in getting
the dealer to fix this issue for you.
Best wishes and Happy Holidays,

Yet they advertise like this on the bottom of their site - "Jeep® tub liner" and "Jeep® spray on liner" http://ok.rhinotruckbedliners.com/

I did notice that the dealer I used in 2005 is no longer listed though, slight improvement.
