Local Dealer Near Me Has A......

Has a brand new Modded 2 door JK. It looks bad a$$! I talked to the salesman and he told me that all the mods were done by the dealer and not some other shop. Sale price was 26K but with the mods it went to 31K
What is everyone's 2 cents?

Mods List
2'' Mopar suspention lift
35'' Goodyear MT/R
Blacked out aftermarket rims
Full size spare tire and matching rim
Front bumper light bar
2 6'' Hella lights

It does indeed look great. I figured 35s on a 2 door with a 2 inch lift would look oversized, but they sure look good on that one!

Are you thinking about getting it? You could of course do those same mods afterwards for south of $5k, not to mention the current potential of scoring a bargain on a stripped 2010 Sport. Definitely looks good though.

MTH is right, that is not $5k worth of mods! You'd save several thousand buying a stock model, doing the same mods, and then selling the OEM parts you took off. AND you'd have enough left over to buy a winch and STILL have couple of thousand left over.
Just go to Quadratec and price up the mods...you'll see how much you save!

Get the spec sheet, buy a sport black that doesnt have alot of mambo jambo and then buy the lift, tires, rims light and bar for probably 3k! And the price youre saving on the Jeep

Us Jeep owners try and save pennies I tell ya'

No no no I am not buying it lol! I am happy with my lifted TJ. There is a 4dr JK Rubi 2011 on the same lot for 33K. I think I would rather go with the Rubi.

But in the long haul I would rather have the D44's to support the 35's or 37's

And, by the way, it's missing at least one really important mod: Regearing.

Is it a auto trans or a manual? With 35s--especially with an auto--you're going to want new gears bad.

If your are talking $26k to $31k MSRP, you should expect to get the dealer to come off those numbers by $2-3 thousand. Then, you are talking about a much better deal!

Anyone know what step that is? It appears "less bulky" than the Mopar set.

Might be Canadian OEM . . . . Those have a more rounded look and might be something the dealer had laying around. Hard to tell from the pic though.

Those are OEM steps, my son has some brand new for sale he got from the dealership he works at. They are not very heavy

I would think you could talk down maybe a G. I bought a 2010 JKU 3" lift, aftermarket wheels and tow pack for 31k JKU cost more, but I have never priced light bar with lights and switches. I would not expect to get less 30K before rebates.

But, you only have to justify it to yourself. If you can buy it and be happy for what you paid what else matters. Monday morning quarterbacks are every where and give their opinion when not needed. Just make sure you don't have buyers remorse, but you'd be buying a jeep I really doubt your going to be unhappy even at 31k bad ass looking jeep and you didn't even have to get your hands dirty.

I would say the mods are more in line of $3500+ depending on how they did the lift. Those tires are real expensive in 35's (around $330 to 350 in 35X12.5X17). I would say close to $2700 for a set of 5 with the wheels

With out being regeared I wouldn't even think about it for 29k let alone 31k.. Plus for 5k in mods there are few other things that should be one that jeep

It is a Sport. And it is a Mopar lift. I have checked. I wouldn't buy this if I can get a Rubi 4dr for 2K more.
