Lockable tool box?

So I am looking for a creative solution to this - I would love nothing better than to install a black diamond plate toolbox right behind the front seats of my two door JK where the rear seat used to be. Something perhaps 12-18" high, the width of the jeep, and perhaps 18-24" wide (front to back measurement)

Tuffy sells a 91 pound monster for 600 dollars - is there an alternative? I want something that looks like it belongs, and is lockable. At this point I was thinking of building my own and using the tailgate as the door.

Any custom solutions out there? I can't be the only one who drives in the city without a top and/or doors -

Lookin Northerntools.com, I got mine yrs ago and I don't have the papers, but it's from them-

I sometimes keep my HiLift on there but it's always full of recovery gear-you can see the size and it was about $90 bucks a couple years ago and it's lockable-

I worked at an ATV dealership for about 8 years and we had access to 2 different boxes both were black diamond aluminum. One is roughly 3-3 1/2 ft w x 9 in long, 6-7 inches deep. Looks identical to truck boxes(gas shocks on the lid) heavy duty handle. The other we sold was same dimensions except 2 ft deep. I havent seen these in a while so i am going off memory. I have the shallow version and I'm currently working on a couple of ideas to mount. Without looking or measuring I believe both would fit behind the rear seat of a 2 dr. Just guessing they range from 175 to 200 bucks. The larger one is close to the size of jimbox's above.
