Lockpick 5 - Rear Camera Input Not Working

Hey All --

So I've been fighting with this for awhile and finally determined it's not my camera. The lockpick has a female RCA plug for the rear camera input specifically...the camera while connected to this input does not work. It's not a power related issue - I've probed that out.

I then thought to disconnect the RCA cable and try the remaining RCA input - that does work. So now I know the camera isn't the culprit.

Any ideas on why the Rear Camera input would not work? I've pulled apart the dash and checked all the connectors and everything is fine. Calling support was a waste of time. The lockpick has the latest firmware (the problem was present before upgrading it as well).

This is for the Lockpick FIM v5 if that helps.

Thanks

I have the same issue and glad to see it's not just me. This has been driving me crazy as I keep trying to figure out why it's not working. I have mine plugged into the Aux/Baby Cam RCA jack and turn it on manually, but really want it hooked into the Rear Jack with the Auto-on. Subscribing to see if anyone has an answer.

Here is a late update. I actually solved this last year. The issue is with the ground wire. It doesn't need to be grounded for the other inputs, appearantly, only the rear one. Once I grounded the black wire, success.
