Yes, 730n.

I got a response to my email. There's another person that they want me to contact to help resolve the issue, but he is out until Jan 9th.

Cool I hope they get it worked out for you! I really want to get this but would like to see someone with a 6spd and 430n give feedback first. Although the issues I have read about all seem to be with the 730 so far

Installed mine today. 2012 Sahara auto 430 radio. Everything works. Backup, iPod, in motion. Love it so far. Mph on screen stays at zero. I was used to it as my speedo. Oh well. Works for what I need.

Installed mine yesterday and no luck. All the in motion features remain locked. I have the 730n. I emailed Ransom to see what he has to say.

I asked him about this. He said that in the 2012 with manual transmissions they changed the signals for the gears, so it doesn't matter what radio you have.

I'm curious to see what happens if you get rolling and put it in neutral. Presumably, if the speed is being hidden from the radio and the gear is now neutral it will unblock the in motion stuff.

So this afternoon I accidentally hit the uconnect phone button on the steering wheel. I quickly hit it again to turn off the phone and when I did it activated the rear camera while driving. I was able to repeatedly replicate this for the rest of the drive.

I have yet to call coastal to try and debug this issue but I wanted to share and see if others can do this as well. I looked through the manual to confirm this wasn't a "feature" and couldn't find it.

Has anyone had any further luck with coastal on debugging?

Anybody get any updates? I guess if we all threatened to return them they would come up with a fix!

So... I just got my new 2012 with the 730N and a manual transmission. I was planning on this being my first mod but now I'm hesitant to order one.

Have any of you with the 730/manual combo gotten it to function properly?

Sad day for me

Hello,

Thank you so much for your inquiry. Unfortunately at this time your 2012 Wrangler with Manual Transmission is not on the approved list of vehicles that work with the LockPick product. However, we are always adding new makes and models to the lineup. I would recommend checking back with us within a couple of months to ensure compatibility with your particular vehicle. Thanks again and I look forward to speaking with you soon.

wow, so i had no idea any of this functionality existed. i was so excited only to have my hopes dashed as i will be ordering manual. i have found some small threads elsewhere saying a usb update will be put out to fix the issue, but as of right now it is a no go.

well hopefully they figure it out and update it. this is a really sweet mod!

I'm guessing if they get enough inquiries about it, they'll probably prioritize it higher. So for anyone reading forums wanting one to work on a 2012 6 spd. perhaps you can email them from their site.

Just a suggestion.

I don't have experience with the AllGig but I do know that if you use any of the iPod features on the Lockpick, those don't exist on the AllGig. If the signals are changed on the 2012 manual I would think AllGig might have the same issues. When I talked to Tony over there he said it's completely compatible with the 2012. Then again, Ransom said the same thing for the Lockpick. Maybe they just don't know yet.

On another note, I spoke with Ransom and Carlos earlier this week. Carlos mentioned they will be ready to test the updated firmware at the end of next week. We shall see. He also said this update is not in high demand, they only have six people waiting for it. Like ndrugby said...maybe more folks should call if they are having an issue. So...here is the number, 1-800-507-2234. Call, talk to Ransom and/or Carlos.

It was so simple in my Vette when I put my unit in. Just grounded the parking brake wire and problem solved. Makes me think if I pulled it out, found the wire, and ground it it would also solve the problem. There has to be some sort of wire that feeds to the ebrake. But it obviously couldn't be that easy or else this thread wouldn't exist..

Carlos' direct line...321-574-5645. I guess i am one of the 6, and he will notify us once this is completed, but i would agree, the more people that express an interest in this, the more incentive there will be for them to push the update sooner.
