Good Morning, long time lurker, first-time poster (w/ a new account),

I plan on leaving my 2015 JK parked in a garage for a little over a month (about 42 days give or take). It's going to be in a covered garage in a hot climate over the summer.

What steps do I need to take to make sure it'll run when I start it up after that time?

Any help would be great.

Thanks!

I have left my Wrangler (and other vehicles) for over a month in my garage, without a problem. I just leave the windows down to ensure the air can circulate freely.

Though, at 42 days, you're getting pretty close to the limit on the gas. Possibly, you should put some stabilizer in the tank?

I've got a car that I only drive for six months a year. (A 2012 Hyundai Accent). It sits in my garage for the other six months. I park it in the fall and then jump in and start it up in the spring.

All I do is make sure the tank is full when I park it to prevent any condensation forming over the winter. I always do an oil change in the spring. I've never had any problems.

Yes I do the same thing. As others have said:

1. Full tank of fuel
2. I connect a Battery Tender to keep the battery at normal charge. Even disconnected the battery can drain damaging the plates in the battery. Do not connect a standard charger that would possibly overcharge the battery it needs to be a maintainer.
3. I make sure to have mouse bait around just in case
4. I also do a through cleaning inside and out just to be ready to go when return

Good luck
