Looking for some DIY help.

I'm looking to build my own pulley system in my garage to remove my hardtop, and was wondering if anyone has done this. If so could I get some specs on how it was done and possible pics.

I don't have any pics right now. But I mounted two 2x4's to the ceiling and hung four pulleys from them. My ropes go down through the pulleys and through two pieces of 1/2" black pipe covered with pool noodles. I used one long rope for the front and one for the back. The loose ends of both ropes come together and then a single rope goes down through a pulley on the wall to a worm drive hand winch. To take my top off, I lower the two pipes down on top of the jeep (using cordless drill) and run ratchet straps through the top and over the pipes. My best suggestion is do not buy cheap pulleys from Harbor Freight. I had to throw them away and go get some decent swivel ones from Lowes. Hope this helps, I think my total cost was around $70.
