Looking to upgrade tires, rims, and suspension for a 2012-14 jeep wrangler unlimited

This is my very first car that I will have upgrades done.
Please excuse my lack of knowledge on this subject too, that is why I'm on here asking for PROFESSIONAL advice.

I want to add some big tires, I've seen and liked 275-295 with small rims.
I'm thinking anything smaller than 18" rims.
The question is, what brand, tire design, and size would be most preferred?
For the rims, what rim material is long lasting and durable?
I also want it lifted but not to the point where I need to get a running start to jump up, I'm only 5'8.
I want to lift it so the tires won't beat up the frame when it's turning left or right.
So what lift kit or suspension is reasonable?

I live in New Orleans where mountains are not relevant but lot holes are like McDonald's restaurant, everywhere.
Any more information needed, please ask away

I would really just search everything you are looking for. Honestly, it will take you a few weeks of just researching everything before you'll really know what you want to go with.

I'll give you the same answer I give everyone else with your question...A teraflex performance leveling kit, and then PM discount tire and ask for "the combo."

Here is a thread with one option for smaller rims and bigger tires that fit without a lift.

Their are many threads that cover wheel and tire size. Just keep looking and when you see a pic of a Jeep that you like the stance of you can ask the owner what setup they are running. Happy searching.

My advice...keep it stock for awhile. Learn the vehicle first.
