Looking under hood. Radiator reserve?

So looking under the hood the other night. I saw the radiator reserve tank. Kinda looked at the fill line.

Then grabbed the tank,, and omg it just sits there attached to a plastic wall.

And kinda looks like there is just a plastic gromet going into the plastic wall securing it.

Its really loose.

Dosnt look like a good design. Almost looks like how you would hang a small picture from your drywall in the house.

Has anyone else noticed how poor of a design this is?

I could wobble this thing back and forth about 3 inches either way.

Other than that,,, everything looks good.

The "coolant transfer bottle", snaps into place and will not JIGGLE out, it's attacthed pretty strong and there's no side pressures onit

Very strong cast plastic pt# 55056542AD

That's the way it is. I don't think there have been complaints about these tanks failing.

They're only loose on the lease models. The ones for sale are all securely fastened.

Only thing I hate is when going up a steep hill, mine tends to empty out a little LOL.
