Arrow Lost my bookmark for the Fog Light bumper install....

and 'search' isn't helping me.

Does anyone have the recent link to the photos of the install?

I'm ready to do the fog light add-ons now.

Got the Grotes, got the Hella bifocals, got the H1 bulbs....

got my adjustable swing hammer ready....

Please clarify Jake, I'm not sure what you need...I do know that you bought some cool stuff to upgrade your lighting.....

those Grotes are pricey for just the buckets, aren't they..??

Don't hit anything too hard with the swing hammer just yet....lol

krutj:

Someone recently posted a wonderful 'here's what I did' multiple photo report on taking the plastic off the front stock bumper, drilling holes, etc. They even listed the number & location of the screws. I had that bookmarked but somehow lost it.

I've got all my parts now & ready to do the install.

Except I haven't decided on where to hand the on/off switch. Was going to put in in place of the cig lighter as they looked the same size....but too much difference in the hole size.

I don't want to drill hole in any panel, and haven't ordered any add-on bracket. The switch that came on DStern's harness is a round switch about 1/2-5/8 inch or so.

Excuse my mis-print. That was "an adjustable swing WRENCH"....HAR!! same deal....

Thanks for ideas.

It's been awhile since I took off my stock bumper, but it's easy...there are four bolts on the inside, access is gained by removing the splash guard under the bumper. Splash guard is held on with those plastic push screws, similar to the ones on the grill. I used a screw driver to get some slack, then yanked them out with needle nose pliers. Once the splash guard is out, you'll be able to see the bolts....

When I mounted lights in my back bumper, I bought a hole saw to drill the holes, works great...good luck.
