lost some hp :(

lost some horsepower when i got larger tires which is to be expected but wondering on some great ways to get it back

You've lost nothing. Your effective final drive ratio changed. Front and rear gear ratios need to be updated.

Look at gear charts and pick the gear ratio that matches your cruising RPM at 70MPH.

Cost of gears + labor is ~$2K.

Ok well I went with 33s but I'm about 90% sure I'm going to upgrade to 35s so would it ruin anything if I gear for 35s to begin with

you only lost leverage - hp and torque are the same :-) - able to be regained through gearing.

You can increase some performance through ECU tuning or exhaust/intake mods but the best way to get the performance you need is through the diffs.

Not at all. You might sip a bit more gas(nothing crazy) but it'll be extra peppy for a little while which would be nice. 4.88 is a nice range but it'll be pretty high for 33's

after doing this myself, I would say "look at a gear chart and see which set most closely matches your stock set....then go one deeper.

Absolutely. If you bring yourself back to the same power range it'll feel slow. You need more power than before to overcome the larger tires

Yea I have a 08 jku X and they say between 4.56-4.88 so I was thinking 4.88 go big or go home Iim thinking at this point
