Loud skreeching noise

I have a 2008 jeep wrangler 4 dr. Two weeks ago I had a 2.5 in suspension lift, 35 in tire, and front and rear drive shafts installed. This morning on my way to work, I hear a loud constant skreeching noise which sounded like it was coming from the rear differential area. The noise stops when I come to a stop and continues again after I start moving. If I park the vehicle for about 5 minutes or more and start driving the noise will come back after 5 minutes. I took it to the shop and they cant figure out what is causing the noise.

Not sure why your marriage status has anything to do with your question, but get a better look at what's going on.chock the front tires, jack up the rear, send turn the tires by hand(they should have done this at the shop). Have you been off-road/bumpy road? What about your brakes? I'm really just spit balling a bit....

Sorry, it was a joke. I you might want to check the bearings. Any ride difference, or just the noise?

How are the angles on the driveshafts ? Sounds more like a brake issue, but I'm going to assume it was on a lift and they checked?

I'm married and it took like 0.0002 seconds to get that joke.

My 1st impression was driveline u-joint going bad due to the increase flex angle. However they tend to just to make repetitive squeak-squesk-squeak noises, or just grown. Really could be a number of things...bearings as mentioned.

I had this happen and it drove me nuts. Turned out to be a rock lodged between the brake dust shield and disc. Pull wheel and give a good look.
Btw, wife joke was hilarious!
