Just had surgery on my knee. So I'm pretty bored at home and was wondering what do you guys love and hate most about your tj? Just curious on everyones answers

I'm thinking the TJ General Discussion Forum is going to get you better answers.
The thing I hate about my best friend's TJ are that it's slower than any vehicle I think I've ever owned that was road-legal. I also don't like the rectangular running lights or the half-plastic, half steel front fenders or the fact that the tub looks too low and the roof too tall when canvas top is up.
There, teach you to wander over into the JK forum.
Just kidding, you're welcome anytime.
(By the way, just being honest about the above -- I really do like the JK better on all of those points.)
Don't hate or love my TJ, don't have one. Skipped the TJ line. Sure had a love/hate relationship with my YJ though. And my JK Rubi is all love!! :huglove:
My brothers 2003 TJ rubicon is sweet I love going up north in it with him a real tubbed wrangler. Every one waves at a TJ not so much at my wife's 2014 Sahara JKU and not at all at my 2009 KK. lol
I loved my TJ. Traded it in because I Wanted the extra room. I couldn't carry my BOB or any other gear really. I planned on keeping my TJ forever, but when my dealership (I work for) got a JKUR manual transmission in great condition at auction for a great price I couldn't pass it up. I love the room! And going from a TJ X to a JKUR I have zero regrets!!
Love the inline 6, love the simplicity, love the price tag (trail rash doesn't phase me), love the front fenders better than the JK front fenders, love the trail capability.
Hate the poor fuel economy, hate that it's getting old enough to start into more frequent nickel and dime type repairs.
Loves greatly outweigh the hates. First vehicle since my 95 F-150 I've really really liked to drive.
I don't get the not waving thing. Not sure if it's from riding a bike or living in the middle of the corn fields but I wave at everyone.
I don't want to insult anyone but if I am coming up on a jeep and we are both doing the speed limit, in that small glimpse I can't tell the difference between a TJ and a JK. Sorry guys just being honest about it.
I try to wave at everybody but I'm sure I miss some and they come on here and complain. I have a 1-2 mile commute and see 5-6 Jeeps. They're everywhere. I get return waves from very few JK owners but its getting better.
If it's a Jeep, I wave at it. We're all brothers. Sure Jeeps can be quirky, have the aerodynamics of a brick, and don't get great gas mileage, but few vehicles can get you into and out of just about anything out there. I love my 2014 Willy's Unlimited I picked up in June. :happyyes:
Best of luck with the recovery. Had my knee done a week ago. Biggest goal was to get my knee to bend enough to get in the rubicon to drive. Goal reached and mobile now!
It's cool how your thread came by accident over here to the dark side. lol. It is nice to have some conversations with other members from WF who wheel and drive other models. Thanks for your inputs and I hope you heal up well and get to drive your TJ soon. I have always liked the TJ and always look forward to going places with my younger brother in his 2003 Rubicon. We usually go up north to my cottage which is in the land of lakes and Canadian Shield its awesome.
