Low order gripe

Bought the TruckLite LED headlights and went to a local "four wheel drive expert and Jeep specialist" to buy the H13 to H4 adapters and keep the locals employed.

Once there, I told the first employee what exactly what I needed. He had no idea what I was talking about. I then asked the second employee what I was looking for. His response: "what would anyone want that for?" I explained what the harness was for and he looked at me as if I was a time traveler who ventured back to a 1958 auto parts store to ask for a speed density intake system.

They had plenty of 'image' and 'style' parts, but had no clue about improved Jeep lighting. They claim to have never had heard of TruckLite.

I am now exclusively an online customer.

No offense but they probably were not interested in supplying you with a $5 part as that really does not do much for keeping them employed lol. My Truck lites came with the adaptor already but would be a no brainer to make one if they had not.

Knowing about Jeeps and the mods we do to them should help keep them employed. Not having a $5 part or knowing about it lost future business.

I've had similar experiences with my local store so your story doesn't surprise me.
