I'm a TJ owner, but I just had to pop in to read this!

To each your own I guess, but I knew the masses would be annoyed here.

WOW...what a bunch of haters. Pretty sure nobody dogged on you for doing mods on your Jeeps. Not everyone takes there Jeeps off road and beats them. To each their own. Drop that beotch in the weeds if you want. Some airbags would work. Me, I like my lift. When you do it, lets see some pictures. Might look good.

I cannot get a Jeep Wrangler into my condo garage without lowering it by about an inch. A friend had a similar problem and scratched the hard top roof on the way into his garage.
Too bad Jeep does not offer a slightly lowered suspension as a factory option.

Wow, your first post and you brought a thread back to life that has been dead for four years.

They do offer one, ask for a compass.

I actually did asked the forum this exact question when my wife badly broke her leg and was having trouble getting into the driver's seat.

I got a lot of flack!!

But there is a kit and we bought it and had it installed. It drops the Jeep 2".

I bought it on line at Eibach for around $270.00.

It's her daily driver and she would never even consider taking it off road. She actually always wanted a Hummer. When she saw the 2012 JKU cherry red Altitude, that was it. She bought it and loves it.

We were at the dealership to buy her a Journey. She took it out and said, " I ain't driving a minivan!!"

As far as looks, it looks good to us and handles flatter too.

I don't have a picture of ours but here's a side view from the web site.

Her Jeep came with the Sahara side steps so it actually lower to the ground than shown in the picture.

I can also wash the roof now without having to get the two step ladder out.
