Lowering Springs??

I was doing more research on which lift I want and saw Eibach had a spring that said -2...I got confused then realized this was a lowering spring...Why? Anyone done this?

I'm saddened by your non-permissive attitudes, fellow Jeepers.

Whatever happened to being politically correct, to loving your neighbor? Keep an open mind, people.

The Jeep pictured above, while not for everyone, would be perfect for, say, this guy...

Somebody call J.P.S. - Jeep Protective Services. Maybe they can find a loving caring home with owners who will restore this Jeep to its previous glory.

My non-permissive attitude is only because I care.

I put Ace Sliders on my Jeep for my kids who are Mini Me's. LOL

It's the hive mind of the forum. Somehow some guy in Cali feels like he's affected by what a guy in New Hampshire does with his own jeep...

Policial correctness is a cancer. People are too afraid to talk about things that are important to them because they don't want to offend anyone. Bah!!

That being said, that Jeep looks like a*$.

Sorry OP.

Do you fish? What I did is the forum equivalent. Man, came home with a full cooler, too...

To answer your question, Eibach makes components (mostly) for performance cars. Plenty of applications for lowering, but most peeps wouldn't apply them to Jeeps.

Most peeps.

Haha I was honestly just super shocked to see lowering springs for an offroad vehicle...I wasn't trying to bash peoples choices at all. That being said I completely think that jeep looks like crap and would never go - with ride height.

I hear you...and based on the tone of your post, I kinda figured it was more of a curiosity thing, than a real-world application deal.

Nevertheless, sometimes it's fun to chum the water, and see if you get sharks.

Notice how the thread tanked after post #13? Nobody wants to be the fish. Forum fun...

At one point my former mail lady was considering these, not sure if she ever pulled the trigger. She liked her JKU, limited slip and 4wd for bad weather when delivering the mail and the ability to cruise around town or down to the beach with the top down on the weekend when the weather was nice, but has no desire to ever take it off-road. She just wished it sat a little lower so it was easier to get in and out of.

Haha exactly, no one cares anymore and rightfully so it's a pretty specific topic. But thanks for contributing, fun while it lasted.

I guess that makes sense too. I guess there are mods out there for everyone, even people who want to lower a wrangler
